About Us

Skagit Animal Clinic has been part of the Skagit Valley since 1955. For over 60 years we have stood by our principles of practicing honest, quality medicine and providing loving compassionate care for both pet and owner.

The doctors and staff here at SAC are proud of its history, proud of its lasting presence and its continued commitment to our community, our patients and our clients. You are the reason we are still here after so many years, serving you is what we’re all about.

In 2018, we were acquired by WellHaven Pet Health and are excited about this continued partnership. WellHaven is leading the charge in excellent pet care, and we invite you to come along for the ride!

Mission Statement

Skagit Animal Clinic strives to provide exceptional client service and practice quality veterinary medicine with integrity, supporting an environment that maximizes personal and professional growth, to ensure the best quality care for your pet.

We take the time and make the effort at Skagit Animal Clinic to listen to your concerns about your pet and answer all your questions. We understand the bond between people and their pets, we share that bond with our own pets, and would be honored if you’d trust us to care for your four footed, furry family members.

Clinic Policies

Financial Policy
All services must be paid for at the time of service. This also includes all over the counter sales of products and food and prescription refills.

We accept payment in the forms of Cash, Checks, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express and Care Credit.

A fee of $30.00 will be charged on a check that is returned from the bank for non-payment.

Appointment Policies
Appointments are highly recommended, this allows us to schedule both your time and our day efficiently. Emergency cases will be seen immediately, at an additional cost, which is why appointment delays sometimes occur.

Walk-ins are welcome, there is an additional charge, and will be accommodated as time allows. Clients with appointments will take precedence.

We ask, for your protection as well as your pets, that all dogs be on leashes or otherwise confined and that cats be brought in appropriate carriers.

If your pet will be staying with us, either for boarding or medical treatment, we require that all vaccinations be up to date, acceptions can be made at the doctor’s discretion.

For your convenience, and sometimes ours, you may be able to leave your pet with us for the day or several hours. After filling out the appropriate forms, we can examine or treat the pet as the day allows. In some cases, there is an additional charge.
