Here you’ll find everything you need about Skagit Animal Clinic and how we can help you. We have online forms for everything related to our Burlington veterinary clinic, and information about what to expect when you visit.
What to Expect
Once a year, you should bring your pet in for a check-up. This will include a full physical exam, and may include teeth and gum cleaning if needed. The Doctors will check the health of your pet from head to tail, and you will be very happy you came to Skagit Animal Clinic for service.
Bring in any medical history you have of your pet when you come to our vet clinic. It’s best to keep a journal of your pet’s health throughout his or her life, including behavioral shifts. If you have something like this, share it with our team. If not, let us know everything that you think will be important. The Doctors at Skagit Animal Clinic will work with whatever information you have.
In some circumstances, will refer you to a specialist who has advanced expertise in areas such as internal medicine or surgery.

Appointment Policies
Walk ins are welcome and will be accommodated as time allows, but clients with appointments will take precedent.
We ask, for your protection as well as your pets, that all dogs be on leashes or otherwise confined and that cats be brought in appropriate carriers.
If your pet will be staying with us, either for boarding or medical treatment, we require that all vaccinations be up to date.
For your convenience, and sometimes ours, we accept u2018drop off’ appointments. This is when you leave your pet with us for the day or several hours, after filling out the appropriate forms, so we can exam or treat the pet as the day allows.
